SICKKIDS 2023/24 LOTTERY RULES AND REGULATIONS
General: By purchasing a ticket in the SickKids 2023/24 Lottery, the SickKids 50/50 Draw and/or the SickKids Cash Calendar, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries are to be made to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation (“SickKids Foundation”) prior to the purchase of a ticket. All orders will be processed and fulfilled under the supervision of MNP LLP. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final. The liability of SickKids Foundation shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
Eligibility: By purchasing a ticket in one or more of the aforementioned lotteries, the purchaser confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and located in the province of Ontario. Only tickets that have been paid for and have been verified as paid for are eligible for the respective draws. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets or obtaining benefit from the prize offering: SickKids Foundation staff and Board of Directors; The Hospital for Sick Children Executive Team and Board of Trustees; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; employees of registered gaming suppliers; and members of the same household of each of the above.
Tickets: Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. The primary ticket purchaser may, at its option, add the names of up to two additional persons to the ticket at the time of purchase (“Additional Persons”). These Additional Persons are not ticketholders and the Foundation has no obligation or liability to any person named on a ticket other than the primary ticket purchaser, who may or may not elect to share any win information and prize(s) with any Additional Person named on the primary purchaser’s winning ticket(s). Tickets must be ordered and sent in the province of Ontario. Tickets may be ordered by mail, telephone or online at
SickKidsLottery.ca. Tickets will be available until midnight, March 8, 2024, or, in the case of the SickKids Lottery and the Cash Calendar, while supplies last. Purchasers selecting e-tickets should receive their tickets within four business days of the order date. Mailed tickets should arrive within three weeks following the order date. All tickets in a bundle pack must contain the same name(s) and mailing address and will only be mailed to the primary ticket purchaser. Only one method of payment will be accepted with any ticket order and purchases are not tax deductible. The official SickKids Lottery ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draws. Tickets for the SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw and SickKids 2023/24 Cash Calendar can be ordered separately by calling 1-877-216-2598 or 416-977-9151 provided that a SickKids 2023/24 Lottery ticket has previously been ordered and validated. Prizes/Draws: Prizes will be awarded as listed but may not be exactly as illustrated. Prize values are approximate and based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) at the time the purchase agreements were confirmed. All vehicle prizes are 2024 models unless stated otherwise. There are no restrictions on how to use the prize proceeds. All draws will be conducted at the offices of MNP LLP, 1 Adelaide Street E, Suite 1900, Toronto, ON M5C 2V9. All draws will be made using Random Number Generator (RNG) software under the supervision of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the prize draws listed below. All draw times are approximate. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions except where a cash alternative is specified. Please allow four weeks to receive prize cheques. Unclaimed prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the Lottery. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Prize Winner Notification: Prizes will be awarded to the primary purchaser listed on the ticket. All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. Winners may also be contacted by telephone and all winning ticket numbers will be posted at SickKidsLottery.ca. Prize winners, including the 50/50 Draw and Cash Calendar, may be required to provide identification verifying an age of 18 years or older. A printed list of prize winners will be available upon request after May 2, 2024, by calling 1-877-216-2598 or 416-977-9151 or by emailing

Privacy: By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by SickKids Foundation. SickKids Foundation respects the privacy of its lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process lottery ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of The Hospital for Sick Children and SickKids Foundation, and ask for their support for our mission to improve children’s health. SICKKIDS 2023/24 LOTTERYOnly 135,000 tickets will be available. Ticket prices are $100 each with ticket bundles as follows: two (2) for $175; three (3) for $225; five (5) for $300; seven (7) for $375; 10 for $500; and 20 for $900. One ticket will be issued for each order placed, listing all ticket numbers issued. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 000 001.
Prizes/Draws: There are 55,291 prizes, with a total value of $4,024,013.07 inclusive of applicable taxes and destination charges. The VIP Prize draws will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on January 4, 2024, consisting of ten (10) draws for $10,000 cash. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by midnight, December 15, 2023. Prize Winner Notification: VIP Prizes will be posted to the website by 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. The Early Bonus Prize will be posted to the website by 5:00 p.m. on February 6, 2024. SICKKIDS 2023/24 50/50 DRAWOne prize will be awarded in the SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw. The total value of this single cash prize will be one half of the total proceeds received. To be eligible for the SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight on March 8, 2024. SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw tickets can only be ordered in conjunction with the SickKids 2023/24 Lottery. The single SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw will be conducted on March 26, 2024, following the SickKids 2023/24 Lottery Grand Prize draws and published on April 1, 2024. The minimum guaranteed prize value is $500,000 and there is no maximum prize value. SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw tickets are three (3) for $15; 10 for $25; 30 for $50; 100 for $100; and 200 for $150. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 800 001. There is no limit to the number of SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw tickets that can be sold. If all SickKids 2023/24 Lottery tickets held by a ticket holder become invalid, all SickKids 2023/24 50/50 Draw tickets associated with the ticket holder will also become invalid.
SICKKIDS 2023 CASH CALENDAR
Tickets: Only 515,000 tickets will be available for sale. To be eligible for the SickKids 2023/24 Cash Calendar, tickets must be purchased by midnight on March 8, 2024. SickKids 2023/24 Cash Calendar tickets can only be ordered in conjunction with the SickKids 2023/24 Lottery. Ticket prices are: five (5) for $25; 15 for $50; 25 for $75; 50 for $100; 100 for $150. If all SickKids 2023/24 Lottery tickets held by a ticket holder become invalid, all SickKids 2023/24 Cash Calendar tickets associated with the ticket holder will also become invalid. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 200 001.
Prizes/Draws: There are 188 SickKids 2023/24 Cash Calendar prizes with a total value of $515,000, consisting of (in draw order): one (1) Kick Off Prize of $25,000, 150 Daily Prizes of $1,000 Cash, 30 Daily Prizes of $5,000 Cash, four (4) Weekly Prizes of $10,000 Cash and three (3) Grand Prizes of $50,000 Cash. All 188 draws will take place on March 26, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m. following the SickKids 2023/24 Lottery and SickKids 2023/24 50-50 Draw prize draws.
