SICKKIDS 2024/25 LOTTERY RULES AND REGULATIONS
General: By purchasing a ticket in the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery, the SickKids 50/50 Draw and/or the SickKids Cash Calendar, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation (“SickKids Foundation”) prior to the purchase of a ticket. All orders will be processed and fulfilled under the supervision of MNP LLP. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final. The liability of SickKids Foundation shall be limited to the purchase price of the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery ticket.
Eligibility: By purchasing a ticket in one or more of the aforementioned lotteries, the purchaser confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and located in the province of Ontario. Only tickets that have been paid for and have been verified as paid for are eligible for the respective draws. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets or obtaining benefit from the prize offering: SickKids Foundation staff and Board of Directors; The Hospital for Sick Children Executive Team and Board of Trustees; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; employees of registered gaming suppliers; and members of the same household of each of the above.
Tickets: Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. The Primary Ticket Purchaser may, at their option, add the names of up to two additional persons to the ticket at the time of purchase (“Additional Persons”). These Additional Persons are not ticketholders and SickKids Foundation has no obligation or liability to any person named on a ticket other than the Primary Ticket Purchaser, who may or may not elect to share any win information and prize(s) with any Additional Person named on the Primary Purchaser’s winning ticket(s). Tickets must be ordered and sent in the province of Ontario. Tickets may be ordered by mail, telephone or online at SickKidsLottery.ca. Tickets will be available until midnight, February 28, 2025, or, in the case of the SickKids Lottery and the Cash Calendar, while supplies last. Purchasers selecting e-tickets should receive their tickets within four business days of the order date. Mailed tickets should arrive within three weeks following the order date. All tickets in a bundle pack must contain the same name(s) and mailing address and will only be sent to the Primary Ticket Purchaser. Only one method of payment will be accepted with any ticket order and purchases are not tax deductible. The official SickKids Lottery ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draws. Tickets for the SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw and SickKids 2024/25 Cash Calendar can be ordered separately by calling 1-877-216-2598 or 416-977-9151 provided that a SickKids 2024/25 Lottery ticket has previously been ordered and validated. No refunds will be issued after the commencement of the draws. If you have not received your ticket(s), please contact the customer service line at 1-877-216-2598 or 416-977-9151 or email SickKidsLotterycs@mnp.ca for a replacement.
Prizes/Draws: Prizes will be awarded as listed but may not be exactly as illustrated. Prize values are approximate and based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) at the time the purchase agreements were confirmed. There are no restrictions on how to use the prize proceeds. All draws will be conducted at the offices of MNP LLP, 1 Adelaide Street E, Suite 1900, Toronto, ON M5C 2V9. All draws will be made using Random Number Generator (RNG) software under the supervision of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the prize draws listed below. All draw times are approximate. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions except where a cash alternative is specified. Please allow four weeks to receive prize cheques. Unclaimed prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the applicable SickKids Lottery. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Prize Winner Notification: Prizes will be awarded to the Primary Purchaser listed on the ticket. All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. Winners may also be contacted by telephone and all winning ticket numbers will be posted at SickKidsLottery.ca. Prize winners, including the 50/50 Draw and Cash Calendar, may be required to provide identification verifying an age of 18 years or older. A printed list of prize winners will be available upon request after May 2, 2025, by calling 1-877-216-2598 or 416-977-9151 or by emailing SickKidsLotterycs@mnp.ca.
Privacy: By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by SickKids Foundation. SickKids Foundation respects the privacy of its lottery supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process lottery ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of The Hospital for Sick Children and SickKids Foundation, and ask for their support for our mission to improve children’s health. Limitation of Liability: By purchasing a ticket, purchaser releases and holds harmless SickKids Foundation, The Hospital for Sick Children, the prize providers and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery, the SickKids 50/50 Draw and/or the SickKids Cash Calendar or any prize won.
Governing Law: These rules and the rights and obligations and relations of the parties hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Each party hereto does hereby attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario.
SICKKIDS 2024/25 LOTTERY
Only 135,000 tickets will be available. Ticket prices are $100 each with ticket bundles as follows: two (2) for $175; three (3) for $225; five (5) for $300; seven (7) for $375; 10 for $500; and 20 for $900. One ticket will be issued for each order placed, listing all ticket numbers issued. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 000 001.
Prizes/Draws: There are 55,241 prizes, with a total value of $4,032,909.60 inclusive of applicable taxes and destination charges. The VIP Prize draws will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on January 7, 2025, consisting of 10 draws for a Bahamas Vacation (value $12,000) or $10,000 cash. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by midnight, December 20, 2024. The Early Bonus Prize draw will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on February 4, 2025, consisting of one (1) draw for a 2025 Range Rover Velar P250 Dynamic SE (value $89,817.49) and a Scotland Vacation (value $20,000) or $86,000 cash. To be eligible, tickets must be ordered by midnight, January 24, 2025. The Early Bird Prize draw will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on March 4, 2025, consisting of one (1) draw for a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 550 (value $270,534.37) or $220,000 cash. To be eligible, tickets must be purchased by midnight, February 21, 2025. The Final and Grand Prize draws will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on March 11, 2025. Travel Prizes: With respect to the prizes that include a travel component, all travel prize values are stated in Canadian Dollars and include all taxes. Travel prize winners must accept the prize as awarded or take the cash alternative listed. Travel winners choosing the cash alternative will be required to sign a release form prior to receiving the cash prize alternative. Trips must be booked through Uniglobe Carefree Travel Group and travelled within 18 months of the draw date. All package values are based on Double Occupancy at high season travel. Travel dates based on availability, with no blackout dates. Prizes are non-refundable. Once winner confirms booking, change and cancellation penalties apply. Prizes do not include travel insurance. The VIP Prizes: Sandals Bahamas Vacation includes return economy airfare for two (2) from Toronto or Ottawa, seven (7) nights at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort, all-inclusive and roundtrip transfers; The Early Bonus Prize: Highlights of Scotland includes return economy class airfare for two (2) from Toronto, six (6) nights accommodation in hotel and one (1) night guesthouse, all transport and seven (7) breakfasts included. Grand Prize 10: Nashville includes return economy class airfare for two (2) from Toronto, five (5) nights accommodation, Tour of Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Showboat and a Full Day Memphis Tour (from Nashville), with transfers. Grand Prize 9: Portugal & Spain River Cruise, includes return business class airfare for two (2) from Toronto, 7-night Cruise with three (3) nights accommodation in Lisbon before, all meals on Ship and transfers. Grand Prize 8: Iceland 10 Day Tour, return economy airfare for two (2) from Toronto, 9 nights accommodation, 15 meals included. Grand Prize 5: Mediterranean Cruise with Ritz-Carlton Yacht for two (2), Athens to Venice includes stops at Milos, Santorini, Corfu, Kotor, Dubrovnik and Hvar. Includes return business class airfare for two (2) from Toronto, eight (8) nights onboard the Luminara in a Terrace Suite or Higher, one (1) night accommodation in Athens, all meals on Ship, some tours included.
At the time of booking, the winner must provide valid travel documents (where applicable) for both the travel prize winner and if necessary, any traveling companions. Bookings are also subject to all rules and regulations of the applicable airline or other carrier as well as the resort or hotel. All bookings are subject to change. Uniglobe, SickKids Foundation, The Hospital for Sick Children, and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns shall have no responsibility for trip cancellations, alterations, weather delays, weather cancellations, equipment breakdown or failure, or other changes to the trip itinerary and by accepting the travel prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts such risks. The travel prize winner and guests will be responsible for all costs related to the prize that are not specified as being included in the travel prize, including, but not limited to, travel and health insurance, personal expenses, medical expenses, excluded meals and beverages, gratuities, and all other expenses and travel requirements not specifically described above as being included in the travel prize. The travel prize winner may be required by the airline or hotel or resort to provide an accepted and valid credit card to cover incidental charges (including but not limited to: telephone charges, special purchases, etc.). The travel prize winner and guests must travel on the same itinerary and must each have valid travel documents (where applicable). Please note that all necessary travel documents are solely the responsibility of the winner and their traveling companions. Uniglobe, SickKids Foundation, The Hospital for Sick Children, and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns are not responsible in the event travel prize winner and/or travel companion are refused entry into destination country or re-entry into Canada for whatever reason. SICKKIDS 2024/25 50/50 DRAW
One prize will be awarded in the SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw. The total value of this single cash prize will be one half of the total proceeds received. To be eligible for the SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight on February 28, 2025. SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw tickets can only be ordered in conjunction with the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery. The single SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw will be conducted on March 11, 2025, following the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery Grand Prize draws and published on March 14, 2025. The minimum guaranteed prize value is $500,000 and there is no maximum prize value. SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw tickets are three (3) for $15; 10 for $25; 30 for $50; 100 for $100; and 200 for $150. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 800 001. There is no limit to the number of SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw tickets that can be sold. If all SickKids 2024/25 Lottery tickets held by a ticket holder become invalid, all SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw tickets associated with the ticket holder will also become invalid.
SICKKIDS 2024/25 CASH CALENDAR
Tickets: Only 515,000 tickets will be available for sale. To be eligible for the SickKids 2024/25 Cash Calendar, tickets must be purchased by midnight on February 28, 2025. SickKids 2024/25 Cash Calendar tickets can only be ordered in conjunction with the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery. Ticket prices are: five (5) for $25; 15 for $50; 25 for $75; 50 for $100; and 100 for $150. If all SickKids 2024/25 Lottery tickets held by a ticket holder become invalid, all SickKids 2024/25 Cash Calendar tickets associated with the ticket holder will also become invalid. All tickets purchased will be issued in sequential order starting with number 200 001.
Prizes/Draws: There are 188 SickKids 2024/25 Cash Calendar prizes with a total value of $515,000, consisting of (in draw order): one (1) Kick Off Prize of $25,000 cash, 150 Daily Prizes of $1,000 cash (5 per day), 30 Daily Prizes of $5,000 cash (1 per day), four (4) Weekly Prizes of $10,000 cash (April 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2025), three (3) Grand Prizes of $50,000 cash. All 188 draws will take place on March 11, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m. following the SickKids 2024/25 Lottery and SickKids 2024/25 50/50 Draw prize draws. ∆ for the month of April 2025
